Our return to ILILT Saturday evening parties comes with fresh French talent on the groove, Dj Valéry from the weekly famous O’Suli’s in Paris, an avid collector and top Dj, he will be bringing the latest and old favourite flavours straight from Paris, France alongside our talented host Dj Erick the Saint.

Fine flavour and magic from speakers to the dancefloor, the night will capture the dancer’s heart.

This dynamic Dj duo will burn the floor with top tunes & cracking flavour; salsa classica, dura, romantica, guaracha, son montuno, cha cha, gauguanco, mambo, all ‘flavours’ welcome under the djs’ narrative :-)

Premium salsa in premium surround sound in a beautiful, large, art deco town hall with fantastic wooden dance floor for your dancing pleasure. Relaxed, welcoming, quality venue with a separate bar area with cheap drinks and cloakroom, in the heart of Brixton high street and tube (Victoria Line) only minutes away.

The music behind the Djs:

Dj Valéry

My name is Valéry,

I was born in Martinique , this is a little island near to Cuba and Porto Rico inside the Caribbean archipel and live in Paris since 2007.

I am a passionate social dancer and dj.

I am also a vinyl collector since many years and,I’m going get my LPs all over the world especially in Colombia.

Since 2008 I am coming to différents Salsa Congress - Social dancing and dj’ing are equally important to me.

I need both to feel connected to this amazing family, our salsa community.

Since 2017 my work as a dj started to get more professionally. Now I am one of the dj’s in resident at O ‘Sullivans with Gabriel and cycy, one of the most famous salsa socials in Paris, taking place every sunday.

I believe I could contribute to Your event with my music full of swing and emotions during all my sets.

My music is very varied going from guaguanco, romantica, montuno, cha cha cha, Preferably I play music which is not too fast.

Thank you

Dj Erick the Saint

Brought up in the Dominican Republic he was enthused from an early age into Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and other latin music styles, a passion he brought with him when he crossed the Atlantic.

He started collecting music since his teens and DJ-ed in house parties before moving to bars and larger events in the Dominican Republic. Since moving to the UK in 2001, he immediately took on the London Salsa scene, Dj-ing in popular Latin venues and becoming a resident DJ in many established salsa venues.

In the last 8 years he has moved on to hosting his own salsa events, being the soul and creator of ‘I like it like that, salsa dura on vinyl’ events.
