Valentines for salsa with ‘Love in the Groove’! We celebrated our love for salsa, dancing and each other on our first event for 2020, and what fire! True love filled the decks by the maestros El Gringo straight from Marseilles and Julian the Duke! Beautiful dancers and smiles filled the floor and we thank you for making our opening night such a success at our new Saturday home, the beautiful Lambeth Town Hall. DJ El Gringo, France

Dj El Gringo has been collecting music for over 20 years and 15 of these have been exclusively dedicated to vinyl records. His favourite salsa era is of the golden 60-70s of guaguanco, mambo, guajira, chacha from all over the world but with special interest in Africa, Guadaloupe and Antilla.

His personal favourite style of music is that of salsa with instruments like bongo, timbales, piano and more. He plays for several events in France which concentrate on 100% salsa dura but he also likes to play all styles of salsa for the dancers and to provide a good ambience for all attending.
