Autumn brought us once again an awesome treat, from Poland, Dj Piotr Dudek and from Bristol, UK, Dj Eddie Hunt who blew our ears and created an explosive dancefloor for salser@s. The music drove us to incredible highs, filled our hearts and exhausted our feet! The quality maintained throughout the night, with the classes being very strong and passionate by Andrea Stewart and guests, the talented SalsaAddiction team straight from Netherlands. We had a blast!

DJ Eddie Hunts, Bristol, UK

In my mind I was born in 2003 when I discovered the world of salsa. After travelling around both England and Europe experiencing different dance styles and a variety of salsa teachers, I started my own salsa night as part of Abanico Salsa.

Abanico Salsa provides many monthly and quarterly salsa events to the whole of the South West of England, with my classes and parties based in both Bristol and Clevedon. I am the co host Montuno Monthly, as well the co creator, host and resident DJ of the Southwest’s first 100% vinyl night ‘Saturday Shingaling’. My nights are just as much about the music as well as the dancing, having been inspired by a guest DJ ing slots in the Paris.

I have also been a guest DJ at Salsology in Manchester, Alchemy in Basingstoke, NYC in Selby, Selly Oak (Latin Motion) Birmingham, Salsa at the Pier in Weston Super Mare which regularly has 350+ plus dancers in attendance and Bristol Salsa Congress, to name a few.

My ever growing vinyl collection has allowed me to expand my range of DJ ing sets so I can adapt to what dancers want from each event. My DJ ing style is based around traditional salsa music, both old and new which consists of mambo and salsa dura.
